He placed bets spending at least $90,000 over his collegiate career. The CFL announced the news on Friday. Sorsby placed at least 40 bets during his time at Indiana University as a freshman in 2022. Sorsby attempted to join the NFL supplemental draft but was later told the league wasn’t having a supplemental draft this year. Sorsby will be able to try entering the regular draft in 2027. The NFL hasn’t had a supplemental draft since 2023.
