Cardinals first-round pick Jeremiyah Love likely will miss the remaining of preseason following an ankle injury during their week 1 game against the Raiders.
ESPN insider Adam Schefter announced on Sunday that Love likely wouldn't see another preseason game following his high ankle sprain in Las Vegas. Head Coach Mike LaFleur originally did not confirm if it was a high ankle sprain or low until Schefter broke the news.
In that game, Love saw 14 total touches. He had 11 carries for 58 yards. He showed his ability as a pass-catching back by hauling in three catches for 14 yards. per yahoosports.com.
With Love likely being out, the Cardinals now find themselves depleted with injuries to James Connor, who has yet to see the field following his season-ending foot injury last year. Trey Benson is also dealing with a knee injury. Tyler Allgeier remains healthy along with Bam Knight, Corey Kiner, and Evan Hull heading into this week.
